About
I’ve always been a helper.
I remember getting offered a job at Meijer when I was a nine-year old because I loved helping people bag their groceries. I was also a freakishly tall kid, so the kind, well-intentioned employee offering me an application didn’t know I was a bit young to join the workforce.
As I got older, I wanted to take that love of helping and pour it into my community, so I became a youth pastor for one of the fastest growing churches in America. In that capacity, I trained and equipped volunteers and grew a love of speaking.
Another essential junction in my life was when I received medical help for the two times I had cancer. Beating it the first time was incredible, but the second instance changed my life forever. I found new value for my life and a desire to help others find value in their own.
When I dove into the construction industry in 2019, I quickly found where I could use my story. A lot of industries, construction included, have workers who struggle finding value in their life. High suicide and overdose rates paint a pretty clear picture.
My mission became simple: Use my love of speaking and teaching to help companies build a culture of care. If you want to partner with me in that, please reach out.
